One month away!

 Only 1 month today until another adventure.Trips all paid, just have to order some South Africa Rand and of course good ole America money. I have most of my immunizations. Going today for the last one and getting malaria pills and travel antibiotics just in case.  Grabbed a foot sling for the long flights. Still want to pick up a light rain jacket. Our summer has been rainy and cool, making for a lush green yard, but I’m ready for some hot Africa weather!!! 

I mentioned long flights! Well…we fly 9 hrs from Calgary to Zurich Switzerland then 8hr layover then 1 hr from Zurich to Frankfurt Germany, another 3 hr layover. THEN…11 hours from Frankfurt to Cape Town South Africa. Ugh….. Hope my poor legs will hold up. lol oh and I’m hoping to visit old town Zurich while we are there. Another adventure hopefully without ordeals! 

For my birthday this year, I decided to visit the Calgary zoo in memory of my girls since we used to visit every year when they were little. When I stood and watched these magnificent animals I couldn’t help think about how cool it will be to see them in the wild. I’m so excited to head out on our African Safari!
