Cape Town tour Sept 17

Yesterday we met our tour group at 6 PM for information about the next 12 days. But first we were on our own for the day. We decided to take the hop on hop off the bus which toured around some of the highlights of Cape Town and around the south western coastline. Of course us crazy Canadians sat in the back of the bus in the open air for the best views, but nearly froze to death as it is only about 15°C. Cape Town is the most amazing city I’ve seen with its diversity from thick jungle to beautiful beaches. Beautiful, huge palm trees and so many historical sites. When we got back to the train station, we decided to go get a coffee before we went on a second bus that took you through the inner city and back around through a different area of Cape Town. After our tour on the bus, we decided to visit the Cape Town aquarium where we saw really cool fish, sharks, and other sea life. After our busy day, we settled in our rooms for a bit and then it was time to meet up with the tour guide. I all of a sudden started feeling sick with a major gut ache and nausea. You think I would learn not to drink drinks outside the hotel and in markets, etc. I made it to the meeting but then missed supper as I was so sick. Today I am feeling 100% better back to myself. Thank God. It was a fantastic day overall but the evening was interesting 🤢🤮
